Skills Required

  • Some basic hand stitching is beneficial but not essential. Some basic sewing machine knowledge is rewuired if you choose to sew the clothes rather than hand stitch them.

  • • X 1 EN71 Certified coloured piece of felt approx. 27 x 16cm for the skirt.
  • • X 1 EN71 Certified coloured piece of felt approx. 27 x 14cm for the top
  • • X 1 EN71 Certified coloured piece of felt approx. 11 x 11 cm for the underwear.
  • • X 2 EN71 Certified coloured piece of felt approx. 14 x 12 cm for the wings.
  • • X 2 safety eyes
  • • Embroidery threads in various colours
  • • Fibre for the hair
  • • Safety stuffing for the body and head
  • • Sewing needle
  • • Scissors
  • • Forceps
  • • Wooden Stuffing tool

Introducing Lilia part of the Felt Fairyland range. Lilia is an Heirloom doll with a wonderfully whimsical nature. In this detailed course you will cover, basic hand stiches in the stitch guide, sewing the body, adding facial features, attaching the head, styling the hair, sewing, and attaching wings, adding an undergarment for modesty, and creating interchangeable clothing. There will be two options for stitching the clothing with both machine and hand stitching demonstrated.
