- Whilst it would be beneficial to know the basic crochet stitches, it is not a prerequiste and this course is suitable for beginners.
Course Description
Amigurumi is a Japanese word which describes small knitted or crochet animals or charactersThis course introduces you to the world of crochet amigurumi.
We will work our way through a basic amigurumi pattern to create Dave the Dog. I will show you how to work the magic circle to start your project, how to increase and decrease (both a standard decrease and invisible decrease) and how to understand a crochet pattern.
I love teaching crochet and teach it regularly across the UK. I love the mindful aspects that crochet can bring, to help us switch off from the busy world and also create some beautiful and fun projects.

- 4mm crochet hook
- DK (double knit) yarn - two contrasting colours
- Stitch marker (safety pins as an alternative)
- Scissors
- 9mm safey eyes (or black yarn as an alternative)
